Full time, live-in position directing the daily operations for the Delta Delta Delta sorority house at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, throughout the academic year. Duties include overseeing staff for housekeepers, caterer(s) and cook(s), meal planning and ordering food for approximately 160 sorority members, contacting vendors for repairs and maintenance, working closely with and reporting to chapter officers and house corporation, overseeing and hosting occasional social events at the house (such as brunches and teas), and helping prepare the house for recruitment.

Qualifications: Fiscally responsible and is able to maintain housing budget provided by chapter; ability to build relationships with students, advisors, parents, campus partners, and other Greek Life constituents; ability to respond to critical situations; ability to be visible and available to students; serves as an example to the chapter members on desired behavior and gracious living; knowledge and understanding of sorority/fraternity life; willing to work evenings and weekends. Experience as a house director preferred.

Benefits: The House Director is provided a furnished on-site apartment, monthly stipend, meals and health insurance. The Tri Delta house will be located in a Sorority Village that will include twelve other sorority houses. This environment will afford the opportunity to foster good social and working relationships with other house directors.

Contract Dates: August 1, 2012 – May 30, 2013
